Guineas / Game Birds
French Guineas are most commonly used for meat production. Although they will reproduce naturally like any other guinea fowl, they have the benefit of growing twice as fast, about 2 lbs. heavier. French Guineas hold up to their “watch dog behavior” and are great for backyard and garden insects & deer ticks.
Guinea Fowl have a standing reputation for their “watch dog” behavior, using a loud yelping sound to warn the flock when intruders enter the vicinity.
